PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — The Air Capital Classic presented by Aetna, conducted annually at Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kan., was awarded with the Web.com Tour’s inaugural Best Pro-Am Experience Award at the PGA TOUR’s Tournament Meetings on Wednesday, December 2 in Miami, Fla.
“Pro-ams are such a key part of the Web.com Tour, as they allow our sponsors, fans and players to interact on a personal level that is unmatched in the realm of professional sports,” said Web.com Tour President Bill Calfee. “I am honored to present the Air Capital Classic presented by Aetna with our Best Pro-Am Experience Award. Roy Turner and his team did a wonderful job of making the annual Marge Page Pro-Am such a memorable experience for all who took part.”
The Pro-Am is named after Marge Page, who co-founded the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation in 1974 – a local initiative that has touched an estimated 26,000 kids in the area.
As the Web.com Tour event with the best pro-am experience, the Air Capital Classic presented by Aetna delivered on a number of unique fronts, including:
- Pairings party held on the 18th green at Crestview Country Club.
- Bullseye Battle during pairings party, which pins Web.com Tour pros against each other in a short game competition, raising $21,650 for local charities.
- Custom wardrobe fittings for all pro-am participants, courtesy of Adidas.
- Barbecue and margarita stations on the golf course during pro-am play.

The 2016 Air Capital Classic presented by Aetna will return to Crestview Country Club on June 23-26.
