Wichita Open Volunteer Registration Opens
2020 Wichita Open volunteer registration is open. Over 500 volunteers are needed the week of June 15 as the Wichita Open, one of the longest running Korn Ferry Tour events, enters its 31st year.
Online registration is available at https://www.wichitaopen.com/volunteers/. This year’s volunteer fee has been reduced to $30 and $5 of each volunteer fee will be donated to KU Wichita Pediatrics projects. KU Med Pediatrics is the 2020 Volunteer Sponsor.
“Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Wichita Open”, Roy Turner, Tournament Director said. “Volunteers share camaraderie, make lifelong friendships, and help our tournament give back to local charities. Our volunteers supply the support that has allowed us to grow and be honored as the 2019 Korn Ferry Tournament of the Year.”
The 2020 event will be held at its reigning home for the last 20 years—Crestview Country Club—from June 11 to June 21, with competition rounds from the 18th to the 21st. Since the inception of the Wichita Open Ambassadors Program, close to $1.5M has been donated to local charities.
