Myles Creighton captures the 2025 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open Benefitting KU Wichita Pediatrics
WICHITA, Kansas – Myles Creighton captures the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open Benefitting KU Wichita Pediatrics to become just the third player in Korn Ferry Tour history to win an event after carding a sub-60 round the same week.
The second-year Korn Ferry member claimed his first career victory with a 2-under 68 in the final round, finishing at 17-under 264. The final round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 11th.
In a truly remarkable week, Creighton achieved a rare feat with a hole-in-one and a round of 59, and a trophy in the same tournament.
In the second round, Creighton found himself at three over par after the front nine. He then went on to hole 3 birdies, an eagle and a hole-in-one on the par-3 12th. The ace helped him post a round of 68, barely making the cut.
In the third round, Creighton carded an 18-hole career-low 11-under 59 to become the 15th player in Tour history to record a sub-60 round. He made 12 birdies (Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16) against one bogey (No. 8), becoming the 13th player in Tour history to record 12 birdies in a single round. He becomes only the third player in Korn Ferry Tour history to record a sub-60 round and go on to win the tournament.
With the win, Creighton moved up 58 spots to No. 16 on the Korn Ferry Tour.
