Wichita Open Volunteer Registration Opens
News2020 Wichita Open volunteer registration is open. Over 500 volunteers are needed the week of June 15 as the Wichita Open, one of the longest running Korn Ferry Tour events, enters its 31st year.
Online registration is available at https://www.wichitaopen.com/volunteers/. This year’s volunteer fee has been reduced to $30 and $5 of each volunteer fee will be donated to KU Wichita Pediatrics projects. KU Med Pediatrics is the 2020 Volunteer Sponsor.

Wichita Open Supporting Wichita’s Youth named 2019 Korn Ferry Tour Tournament of the Year
NewsPONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida — The Korn Ferry Tour honored the Wichita Open, at the PGA TOUR’s annual Tournament Meetings on Wednesday, November 20 at TPC Sawgrass, with the annual season-ending Tournament Awards.
The Wichita Open Supporting Wichita’s Youth, one of the Tour’s original four events dating back to the inaugural 1990 season, claimed the prestigious honor of Tournament of the Year.
“We are thrilled to name the Wichita Open Supporting Wichita’s Youth our 2019 Tournament of the Year,” said Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin. “For 30 years, this event has helped to establish the foundation of success our Tour enjoys today, and Roy Turner and his team earned this tremendous honor by delivering what we considered to be the best week in tournament history.”
As the winner of the Tournament of the Year Award, the Wichita Open Supporting Wichita’s Youth succeeded in putting forth a top-notch tournament on all applicable fronts, including:

The 2020 Korn Ferry Tour season will kick off with The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay, set for January.
The Wichita Open will take place at Crestview Country Club beginning on June 11 and ending on Championship Sunday, June 21.
Wichita Open Alums earn 45 of 50 PGA TOUR cards awarded for 2019-2020 season
NewsWICHITA, KS. – The 2019 Korn Ferry Tour season came to a close Labor Day Monday in Evansville, Indiana as the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance wrapped up. Twenty-five (25) players secured their PGA TOUR cards for the 2019-20 season. England’s Tom Lewis won the season-ending event in dominant fashion at 23-under, five strokes clear of second-place finisher Fabián Gómez.
