Air Capital Classic

Wichita, KS – The Air Capital Classic announced its 2015 exemptions today.

The 2015 Restricted Sponsor Exemptions are Josh Broadaway and Zac Potter.

Wichitans will enjoy watching Potter play on his home course. Potter is a Wichita native and Crestview Country Club member, who played collegiately at Wichita State University. “I can’t wait for the experience of playing in front of family and friends on my home course in my hometown,” Potter said. Potter Monday qualified for the recent PGA Tour event in New Orleans, LA, the Zurich Classic.

Broadaway, a Tour veteran will be making his 10th appearance in Wichita and has become a Wichita fan favorite. 2015 Unrestricted Sponsor exemptions are Will Zalatoris and Nick Rousey.

Zalatoris will be making his first appearance in Wichita. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and is also the 2014 Texas State Amateur Champion and 2014 Trans Mississippi Champion.

Rousey, winner of last week’s Tour All American Classic, made 8 of 21 cuts and had 3 top 25s in 2014 on the Tour. He has won four times on the Tour (formerly the NGA/Hooter’s Tour).


The 2015 Air Capital Classic will be played June 25 – 28th at Crestview Country Club. Tickets are available HERE.

Former Wichita Alum Steven Bowditch won the AT&T Byron Nelson when he secured an emphatic four-stroke victory in Texas on Sunday. Bowditch survived a mediocre front nine before pulling clear with four back-nine birdies on his way to a five-under-par 64 at the TPC Four Seasons Resort in Irving. He earned $1.25 million, while Charley Hoffman (65), Jimmy Walker (66) and Scott Pinckney (66), all Wichita alums shared second on 14-under.
